Mary's packed lunch was incredibly thoughtful!

Beautiful garden view that enhances relaxation.

During my stay, I found the room to be lacking in basic amenities, which was quite disappointing. the service could have been more attentive. I often felt overlooked during breakfast hours. While the location was convenient, the noise from the street made it difficult to enjoy restful nights.

The garden room was cozy and directly opened to the lawn. Loved the eco-friendly soap dispenser in the shower!

pleasant stay with few drawbacks

The homemade cake and welcome drinks provided upon arrival were a delightful touch. The breakfast options were plentiful, with freshly prepared meals that catered to our dietary needs. The spacious garden room provided a lovely view, allowing us to relax in the beautiful lawned garden during our stay.

There was quite a bit of walking required to reach the beach.

It was just a smart choice for a walk in evening in Weymouth with decent value for money. The breakfast was really tasty and there was a good selection. Try to enjoy the garden view during your stay.

Wonderful stay with caring hosts!

We had an absolutely fantastic time during our stay! Mary and Stephen truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, bringing homemade cake and tea to our room upon arrival. The breakfasts were a real highlight, featuring high-quality ingredients and made to order just for us, which was a treat every morning. Plus, the spacious garden room was a lovely place to unwind, with easy access to the beautiful garden outside. Only downside was that it was quite a bit of walking to get to the beach, but the bus stop right outside helped with that.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lilac Villa Guest House! Mary and Stephen are incredible hosts who went above and beyond to make our time special. They even provided homemade cake and hot drinks upon arrival. The breakfast options were fantastic, from made-to-order cooked meals to cereals and fresh pastries, catering perfectly to everyone's tastes. The twin room with garden view was spotlessly clean, featuring a spacious walk-in shower and comfy beds. The quick access to the lovely garden made it extra enjoyable for our kids.

No downsides were experienced during our stay.

Just back from a fabulous weekend at Lilac Villa! Mary & Stephen are super hosts—caring, helpful, and even stocked our room with fresh milk and homemade cake. Breakfast variety was awesome. The garden views were lovely. Only downside, quite a walk to the beach. Would absolutely return!

Breakfasts featured fresh ingredients and a wide variety, with highlights like French fries. the location made it a lengthy trek to the beach, and the noise from the nearby street could be distracting during the night. the service felt inconsistent at times, with periods of overlooked attention at breakfast.
